Bianca is a bioengineer and innovation leader focused on accelerating transformative medical technologies. She is the Managing Director of the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), where she leads the strategic direction of a national, FDA-funded accelerator.
Bianca’s previous experience spans healthcare acceleration, venture capital, and medical device development. She previously led the KidsX Accelerator, the nation’s leading pediatric digital health accelerator program in partnership with a consortium of 30+ children’s hospitals, and supported various early stage startups through positions at the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator and Type One Ventures.
Early on in her professional career, she co-founded ATDEV, a UC Berkeley–born medical device startup developing the Reflex knee exoskeleton for tele-rehabilitation. Her background also includes research and development at UC Berkeley and UCSF Department of Orthopedic Surgery, where she worked on musculoskeletal rehabilitation technologies and next-generation orthopedic devices.
Bianca holds a Master of Engineering degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Carolina Honors College, with additional study at the University of Queensland.
Outside of work Bianca enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, taking film photography, and antiquing.
